Medical Technologist

Etana Biotech is hiring a Medical Technologist. The job summary includes performing processing, testing, and cryopreservation of Cord Blood Units (CBUs), Bone Marrow (BM), and Peripheral Blood Stem Cells (PBSC). You will ensure proper labeling, testing, processing, and disposition of all cord blood, BM, and PBSC samples received. You will also perform entry of laboratory and test data pertaining to the CBUs, BM, and PBSC. You will document and compile laboratory test results and ensure compliance with the company's laboratory SOP. You will perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the laboratory instruments, perform stem cell markers testing using flow cytometry, and perform any other testing required by regulatory bodies. You will perform all levels of quality control activities when necessary. Vendor evaluation is required when needed to ensure that laboratory supplies are delivered in a timely manner. You will assist with the release of CBUs and other HSC units for transplantation, and fulfill other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements for this role include a degree in Biology, Bioscience, Biomedical, or a related field. You must have a minimum of 2-4 years of working experience and be able to speak and write in English. You must also be able to work on shift, including weekends and public holidays. The ideal candidate is a team player who can also work independently, is meticulous, and is able to multi-task. You must be willing to work at Etana's affiliated company if assigned and willing to be stationed in BSD Tangerang.
